From seasonal festivals and swap meets to midways and military planes, there’s always something happening in Sarpy County!
Ferris wheels, skydivers, and dive bombers are as common to the Sarpy County sky as stars in the night. Events celebrating Sarpy County’s military and agricultural heritage are plentiful. During the summer months, you’re sure to find a street dance, a carnival midway, or a parade to enjoy. One of the Midwest’s largest events is held annually in Sarpy County—the Offutt Air Force Base Open House and Air Show. Over 200,000 people gather every June to watch fighter planes grace the sky and to get a hands-on look at America’s military might.
